Thanks for visiting and Merry Christmas!!
There are quilters, knitters, bakers, and musicians. There are businesses that provide gas, groceries, and all your hardware supplies. There are musicians, painters, and poets oh my! There are old traditions but there are new ones too. Can you say massage, pedicures, new do's, and facials? What about a custom made piece of furniture? A portrait sitting to capture those special moments? Calendars, post cards, books, canvas prints of your favorite hometown scene? There is nothing better than putting one of a kind art on your walls created by one of our local artists.
Nothing says giving this Christmas better than supporting our locals. The survival of rural Newfoundland and all of these special little communities will start by supporting the people that make their livings, that create their crafts, that make their music in those same communities.
How easy is it to shop and deliver goods? Too easy!! Once you have browsed the tabs above and you are ready to purchase here is what you do:
Step 1 ~ Browse the shop and choose your items
Step 2 ~ Contact the individual artist or business with the email that is provided to check availability.
Step 3 ~ If available payment will be remitted via email transfer or via cash direct to the artist or business.
Step 4 ~ If vendor is willing to ship than mailing fee's will be added to cost. Otherwise arrangements for delivery or pick up can be made locally with vendor directly.
Step 5 ~ Step back and take a moment to feel really good about what you have done this season by shopping locally.
