Mrs Sutton, other wise known as Mrs Kathleen to all those that know and love her, has been knitting since she was a wee girl.You can tell that every single stitch was made with love and with the thought of who was going to be kept warm with the socks, hats, and head bands she crafts. When I asked her about her love of knitting she told me that when she sits down with a pair of needles it's like the world just disappears and all cares are left behind. Part of the reason I did this website is for people like Mrs. Kathleen. People who were born and bred here and then bore and bred their own brood on the Irish Loop. It's another way to provide some income for our locals while doing something they love. She had loads of goodies stashed away that were just waiting to come out and keep your loved ones warm this Christmas season. I can't wait to tell her that she has already made her first few sales!
